ABOUT US
Dixie Pharmacy was established in December 1908. Many things have changed over the years, but one thing that has not is our commitment to your health and providing you with first class service. The store has been family owned and operated by the Reitzell family since 1961. We provide all the latest services including mobile app refills and text messaging when your refills are ready.
We have an old fashioned Soda Fountain where we serve ice cream cones, malts and other yummy ice cream products. We proudly serve Community Coffee for 5 and 10 cents per cup. Don't believe me? Come by and check us out. We pride ourselves on being a pharmacy from yesteryear, but with all of today's modern conveniences.
Meet The Team
Sammy Reitzell
Sammy is a 1971 graduate of ULM. in his 48 years of pharmacy practice he has studied nutrition, natural medicine, and homeopathy. His knowledge of pharmaceuticals and these other topics make him a valuable asset to his patient base.
Daniel Reitzell
Daniel has worked at the store since he was a young boy of 13 yrs old. After graduating Grant High School in 1996, Daniel went on to further his education at the University of Louisiana at Monroe where he graduated with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree in 2005.
