ABOUT US
Dixie Pharmacy was established in December 1908. Many things have changed over the years, but one thing that has not is our commitment to your health and providing you with first class service. The store has been family owned and operated by the Reitzell family since 1961. We provide all the latest services including mobile app refills and text messaging when your refills are ready.
We have an old fashioned Soda Fountain where we serve ice cream cones, malts and other yummy ice cream products. We proudly serve Community Coffee for 5 and 10 cents per cup. Don't believe me? Come by and check us out. We pride ourselves on being a pharmacy from yesteryear, but with all of today's modern conveniences.
Meet The Team
Sammy Reitzell
Sammy is a 1971 graduate of ULM. in his 48 years of pharmacy practice he has studied nutrition, natural medicine, and homeopathy. His knowledge of pharmaceuticals and these other topics make him a valuable asset to his patient base.
Daniel Reitzell
Daniel has worked at the store since he was a young boy of 13 yrs old. After graduating Grant High School in 1996, Daniel went on to further his education at the University of Louisiana at Monroe where he graduated with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree in 2005.

On the app you can submit refills at your convenience. Adding family members to your account allows you to manage everyone in your household's refills. You can also try the new messaging feature to message us directly within the app.
PRESCRIPTION DRUGS
We offer a full line of prescription medications and accept Medicaid and most medicare and private pay insurances. Cash customers are always welcome. We love to provide fast, convenient and personal service. Ask us about our cycle fill program!! The cycle fill program allows the convenience of getting all of your monthly meds filled and available for pick up on one day of the month.
VETERINARY SUPPLIES
Veterinary supplies are available here for our furry family. Some of our products include shampoos, healing creams and milk, and the baby feeding bottles for the smallest of pets. We also have flea and tick treatments for those pesky bugs.
PHOTO PRINTING
Another service we are happy to provide for our customers is our quick and convenient photo printer. It can be accessed in-store or through the app "LifePics."
Pictures, cards, invitations, and calendars can be printed and in just a few minutes!
VACCINATIONS
We are pleased to offer a wide variety of vaccine's for our customers. We are offering Flu, Pneumonia, Shingrix (Shingles) and Tdap. We can also special order other vaccines on an as needed basis. Call today and make sure you are up to date on all your vaccines.
